Dear Ms. Noelle Marie Nagales:

I am a second year student at City College of New York writing to introduce myself, in the area of science. I became interested in science when I was a child visiting the corominas clinic for the 2ed time suffering from dengue. I want to go into medicine not only for the intense curiosity of the human body and mind but because in science there is knowledge that I admire. Having the commencement of tomorrow. The ability to save life is my motivation because it is what tells me to hold on.

Science is relevant to my daily life. I used research papers, studies and experiments  to test my theories on ingredients. I use my knowledge from that to expand my understanding of life, food, and health. The furthest moment that I used medicine that I remember is when I was a child vacationing in the Dominican Republic. My mother had bought me baby chickens and for some reason it had broken a leg. I gave it ibuprofen in a soda cap with water. I applied diclofenac on its broken leg. In my adolescent years I used science to improve my nutrition, skin, plants, my surroundings, and people’s lives. My mother has psoriasis, I search studies and discover ingredients and habits that could help. One of my cousins has Keratosis pilaris and acne. I used my knowledge to tell her about some ingredients and products. I am excited to work in the science-oriented environment because I still have much to learn. This summer I have planned on performing a few experiments. If they are successful I hope to use the results to help adequately use that that I am experimenting on. I intend to study more languages besides Spanish and french. This is because  I strongly believe that they are a barrier that in medicine I want to try my best to limit.

In this clase I expect my writing to improve. I want to write more concisely and deliver my point. Express my thoughts without  redundancy. Deliver sincere writings that hopefully one day I can look at and be proud of. My plan to achieve this goal is to use membean to expand my vocabulary while doing what my English professor thinks is better.
